Business settings

Shape how the AI replies for your business, and try it out before a real lead comes in.

Every business has its own settings page — click the gear icon on the Businesses page to open it. The left side groups everything into a few sections.

Profile

The basics about your business: name, contact phone, website, industry, address, and operating hours. FirstQuote uses these in your replies to leads, so keep them accurate — operating hours especially, since the AI can invite customers to call during business hours or offer a call back after hours.

Messaging

This is where you control how the AI talks to your leads.

Notifications

How and when FirstQuote contacts you — texts, emails, quiet hours, and auto-dial. Covered in Notifications and auto-dial.

Advanced

Fine-tuning most operators won't need:

Test your AI

Before a real lead ever arrives, have a practice conversation — you play the customer. It uses your saved settings for this business; nothing is billed, and nothing is sent to anyone.

Type a first message (or click Simple example / Detailed example), then reply as the customer and watch what the AI does. Badges show you what would happen for real: Looks qualified, Not a fit, or Handed off to you, plus notes like "You'd get a text about this new lead." It's the best way to check your Messaging settings actually sound like you.

Danger zone

Permanently delete business removes the business and all of its conversations and integrations. This can't be undone, so it asks you to confirm twice.
